Al Plunkett AKA Larry Rogers
February 15, 1949 ~ February 24, 2015


Larry Rogers Of Apache, Oklahoma, Also known as Al Plunkett, was born February 15, 1949 in Wichita Falls, TX to Joe and Mary [Leneis] Plunkett. He passed away February 24th in Apache at the age of 66.

Al worked as a butcher for Herb's Grocery and the Apache Meat Packing plant. He also worked in the oil field and did construction before going to work as a paint contractor for Fort Sill.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by: His daughter, Christi Lynch, of Apache, OK A granddaughter, Kylee Zenobi, of Lawton, OK His mother, Mary Plunkett Vowell, of Fletcher, OK.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 27th at 1:00 P.M. at Fairview Cemetery in Apache with Brother Les Claborn officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
