Dallas Turner

Funeral service for Dallas Turner, 84, Cyril, will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Family Life Church of Cyril with Pastor Donnie Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home.

Mr. Turner passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013. He was 84 years old.

Dallas Turner was born on March 26, 1929 in Alex, Oklahoma to William and Birdie [Kelley] Turner. He attended Alex Schools until going to work on the family farm. Dallas served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, Dallas went to work on Ft. Sill for the fire department from 1950 until he retired in 1981. He farmed until his illness would no longer allow. He attended the Family Life Church of Cyril with his daughter Joyce and his great grandchildren Kaden and Kody Richardson. Dallas enjoyed drinking coffee and eating breakfast at Mac's with his fellow farmers.

He is survived by his former wife, Jacquetta Turner of Cyril; 2 daughters: Jacquetta Jo McBride of Colorado and Joyce Turner of Cyril; 3 brothers: Wayne, Floyd, and Russell Turner; 3 sisters: Gracie Troini, Elzina Bennett, and Mary Lou Powers; 1 granddaughter, Lindsey Martin; and 3 great grandchildren: Kaden and Kody Richardson and Payton Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Birdie Turner; 2 brothers: Waylon and Bob Turner; 2 sisters: Mona Jean Turner and Mae Pelzer; and 2 grandsons: Justin Turner and Adam McCool.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cyril Volunteer Fire Department.

Robert Lee Turner

CEMENT Funeral for Robert Lee Turner, 78, Cement, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Assembly of God Church, Cyril, with Bob Benson officiating.

Mr. Turner died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, in Cement.

Burial will be at Celestial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Fletcher Funeral Home.

He was born March 26, 1931, in Alex, to William B. and Birdie Mae Kelley Turner. He attended Alex Schools and Assembly of God Church in Cyril. He worked as a butcher in Kansas for 15 years before taking up farming as a full-time career.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Linda Sue "Sis" Edwards, Wichita, Kan.; and Roselee "Pumpkin" and Rick Hamilton, Fort Smith, Ark.; friend and companion, Rosie Trammell; four brothers and a sister-in-law: Dallas Turner, Cyril; Wayne Turner and Floyd Turner, both of Cement; and Russell C. and Ming Turner, Poteau; three sisters: Gracie J. Troini, Texas; Elzena Bennett, Fletcher; and Mary Lou Powers, Apache; four grandchildren: Jason C. Edwards and his wife Crystal, Chad R. Edwards, Daniel Lee Turner and his wife Calicia, and Sharyl Rose Hamilton; and six great-grandchildren: Daniel Lee Turner Jr., Tonesha Dawn King, Kevin Bradley King, Kelsey Capri King, Zoey Ricole Green and Easton Robert Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William W. Turner; and a sister, Mae Pelzer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans Cancer Center of Oklahoma City or to Faith Hospice of Anadarko.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. today and Sunday at the funeral home.

Justin Clint Turner

Justin Turner, 26, was born on October 8, 1979, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Chickasha, Oklahoma and died on February 4, 2006 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

He resided and attended school in Cyril, Oklahoma, graduating in May of 1998.

He was involved in the family farming business with his grandfather.

He is survived by his son, Payton Cade Morgan, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, his parents, Rhonda Joyce Turner of Cyril, Oklahoma, and Jimmy Allen Martin and wife Sabra, of Chickasha, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Dallas and Jaquetta Turner of Cyril, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, James and Loretta Martin of Cement, Oklahoma; sister, Lindsey Dawn Richardson and husband David of Cement, Oklahoma; 2 nephews Kaden and Kody; stepsister Jackie Drewry and stepgrandparents Chuck and Gail Wade, all of Chickasha, Oklahoma; stepfather Jim Kerr of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; stepgrandparents John and Juanita Kerr of Sterling, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral service wiii be held at First Assembly of God Church in Fletcher, Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2006. Interment will be at Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Cyril, Oklahoma
