Kathy Lana [Thompson] Stewart

Funeral service for Kathy Lana Stewart, age 61 of Arcadia, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2006, in the Full Gospel Church of Cyril, Oklahoma. Pastor Donnie Miller will officiate and Rev. Raymond McPherson will assist.

Kathy Lana Stewart was born the daughter of George Dewey Thompson and Vida Kathryn Curtis Thompson on September 14, 1944 in Cyril. She died on February 2, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Interment will be in the Celestial Gardens in Cyril. Service will be under the direction of the McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.

Russel Dean Stewart

Services for Russel Stewart, 48, Cyril, were held Friday, May 21, 2004, at the First Baptist Church, Cyril, with Rev. Donald Wright, pastor of Midway Baptist Church, officiating.

A prayer service was held Thursday, May 20, 2004, at the Robbins Funeral Home Chapel, Fletcher, with Rev. Wilfred Niedo officiating.

Burial was in Cyril's Celestial Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home, Fletcher.

Mr. Stewart was born December 20, 1955, in Lawton to Hershal Stewart and Isabell Lingle and died Monday, May 17, 2004, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

He grew up and attended school in Cement and Cyril. He was an oil field worker most of his life and worked the last 20 years with Ouachita Oil Company.

He married the former Nancy Gayle Niedo in 1985.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Stewart, grandfather, Lewis Scott; great-grandparents. Scotts and Brown; grandsons, Jessie James and Billy Josh, infants; uncles and aunts; a niece, Dana Golden and a cousin, Brent Scott.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; his mother, of Cyril; his father, of Tecumseh; his brother, Terry Stewart, Cyril; two sister Teressa Housley and her husband, Woody, of and; and Renae Nail and her husband, Timmy, of Blanchard; three sons- John, Jaycen and Brian Stewart, all of Cyril; three daughters -Jessica Caudill and husband, James, and Marcie Cornelius and husband, Billy, of Oklahoma City; and Adrianna Cody, of Cyril; grandmother, Ellen Scott, of Cyril; aunts and uncles- Charles Scott and wife, Mirian, of Cement; Clayton Scott and wife, Jo, of Cyril; Clifford Scott and wife, Alice, of Cyril; and Leon Stewart, of Arizona; Grace Stewart, Monnie Hargus and Connie Kellog; nephews, James and Josh Stewart, of Chickasha: nieces- Kristin Thomas of Ardmore; and Layla Smith, of Blanchard; grandsons- Jordan Stewart, of Ninnekah; Billy Jack, James Emanuel Dean and Baden Champ; and granddaughters- Ahliya Lexy and Jamie, of Oklahoma City; and a host of others in the Stewart, Niedo and Scott families; plus many great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to Midway Baptist Church, north of Cyril, Cyril, 73029.
