Walter Wayne Smith

Services for Walter Wayne Smith , 65, 107 North 5th St., Cyril, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 1985, in the Cyril First Baptist Church. Officiating clergy will be Rev. Rick Blackwell, pastor, assisted by Rev. Kenneth Hayes, of Lawton.

Mr. Smith was born June 4, 1919 at Cement, and died Monday, May 27, 1985, at Chickasha.

He and Charlotte 'Lottie' Elizabeth Brown were married March 16, 1940 at Montague, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After the war he moved to Cyril in 1946, where he began working for the Cyril Refinery as a lab technician. He retired in 1983. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Minnie [Mullins] Smith, five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons; three brothers and one sister; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Burial was in Cyril's Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Cyril Funeral Home Obit provided by Freda.

Charlotte Elizabeth "Lottie" Brown Smith Teeter

CYRIL - Funeral for Lottie Elizabeth Teeter, 89, Cyril, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Calvary Temple with the Rev. Kip Ackley officiating.

She died Thursday, March 4, 2010, in Chickasha.

Burial will be in Celestial Gardens Cemetery under direction of McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.

Lottie Elizabeth was born June 4, 1920, in Rolla, Mo., to Charles Moses Brown and Susan Buffer Brown.

She married Wayne Smith in March of 1939. He preceded her in death in 1985. In April of 1987, she married Rayburn Teeter. Lottie moved from Rolla, Mo., to the area north of Cyril, where she attended the Tonkawa Country School. She lived in the Cyril area all of her life.

Lottie was a homemaker but also worked at Woodwards Department Store in Cyril. She enjoyed being on the bowling league and crocheting.

Lottie was a member of First Baptist Church and was recently a member of Calvary Temple.

Survivors include her husband, Rayburn Teeter, of Cyril; two sons: Dennis Smith, Hutchinson, Kan.; and Danny Smith, of Cyril; stepdaughter, Raynelle Rose, of Cyril; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Ellen Scott, of Cyril; Opal McNight, of Sapulpa; and Geneva Harris, of Cement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Susan Brown; husband, Wayne Smith; three brothers: Arthur, Henry and David Brown; and two sisters: Edith Stidham and Margorie Miller.

Steven Michael Smith

Steven Michael Smith of Cyril, Oklahoma was born January 21, 1965 on Ft. Sill, OK to Donald Smith and Jacquelene [Wells] Henderson. He passed away at his home north of Cyril on May 30th at the age of 49.

Steven attended Lawton High School and Cameron University. He worked for Eary's Wrecker Service for many years as a tow truck driver and mechanic. He enjoyed `backroading', country music and playing his guitar. He was known for his sarcastic wit. He loved spending time with his great-nieces and -nephews.

He is survived by: His mother and step-father - Charles and Jacquelene Henderson Elgin, OK, 1 brother and his wife - David and Wanda Smith Cache, OK, 1 sister and her husband - Judy and Randy Huffman Duncan, OK, A favorite nephew - Matthew Gitchel Duncan, OK, Several great-nieces and -nephews.

He was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Dr. Richard Smith, 1 sister, Donna Smith.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 7th at 2:00 P.M. at the Calvary Temple with Pastor Kip Ackley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.

Christopher Allen Smith

Prayer services for Christopher Allen Smith, 22, of Cyril, Okla., will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, at Full Gospel Church of Cyril. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at Full Gospel Church of Cyril. Rev. Donnie Miller will officiate.

Christopher Allen Smith was born April 19, 1982, in Lawton, Okla., and died on Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, in an automobile accident near Cyril.

Burial will be in Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McRay's Funeral Home.
