Bobby Eugene Phillips Sr

Bobby Eugene Phillips, Sr of Comanche, Oklahoma was born November 4, 1935 in Miami, TX to Marcus and Lillie O'Dessie [Britt] Phillips. He passed away December 16, 2012 in Oklahoma City at the age of 77.

He was married to Billie Lorraine Medley in May of 1953. To this union, three children were born. They were married for 38 years. Bobby worked in the oilfield his whole life. During his career, he received many awards and commendations. He retired as a supervisor with Texaco in 1990 but continued to work as a contractor with various energy companies until his death.

Bobby married Brenda Susan Jennings on October 29, 1992 in Las Vegas, NV. He enjoyed playing pool with his friends. He played guitar and sang. He loved cats. His greatest joy was spending time with his loving family.

He is survived by: His wife, Brenda, of the home, 1 son-Bobby, Jr. "Sonny" and wife, Shirley Phillips Bray, OK, 2 daughters-Marsha and husband, Terry Dennis Marlow, OK, Marla Eary Cyril, OK, 3 step-sons-Frank Wesley Rightmire Meridian, OK, Michael James and wife, Veronica Rightmire Duncan, OK, David Wayne and wife, Kagen Rightmire Comanche, OK, 17 grandchildren-Erick and wife, Lila Dennis; Kristie and husband, Todd Ward; Justin Eary; Delanna and husband, Gabe Quinones; Samantha Eary; Laci and husband, David Camero; Shawnna Phillips; Matthew and wife, Gina Phillips; Ashley Phillips; Erica and husband Jason Kluttz; Kelli Jo Rightmire; Jessica and husband, Caleb Hawkins; Zachary Rightmire; Timothy Rightmire; Deidra Rightmire; Charlie Rightmire; Lilly Rightmire, 31 great-grandchildren, 1 brother-Ronnie Joe Phillips Cheyenne, WY, Many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: His parents, 1 grandson- Jeffry Eary, 1 son-in-law- Roger Eary, 3 brothers- Edward Phillips, Thurman Phillips, Marcus Phillips, 1 sister- Effie Irene Davidson.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 19th at 2:00 P.M. at the Calvary Temple in Cyril, OK with Pastor Lynn Parkhurst officiating and assisted by Pastor Kip Ackley. Burial will follow in Celestial Gardens Cemetery at Cyril under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers are: Clay Downey, Tim Rightmire, Morgan Downey, Zachary Rightmire, Gus Downey, Koval Willhoite.

Honorary pallbearers are: Erick Dennis, Matthew Phillips, Todd Wardl Charlie Rightmire, David Camero

Louie George "L.G." Phillips

Louie George Phillips was born 9 September 1939 in Arkansas, USA. He was 4th of the six children born to Louie Roudolph Phillips [1910-1952] and Hester Nancy Ann [Beckett] Phillips [1912-2000]. Siblings: Floramae Evelyn [Phillips] Goff [1931-2007], Annie Lorean [Phillips] Shackleford (1934-2010), Rethalee Matilda [Phillips] Moore [1937-], Robert L. Phillips [1943-] and Louie Lee Phillips (1947-1974).

Louie was diagnosed with cancer and he passed away at his home in Chickasha, Oklahoma on Tuesday, 13 May 2014. He was 74 years of age.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home.
