© Carnegie Herald Carnegie, Oklahoma Wednesday, January 24, 1950 ~ September 8, 2010 CYRIL: Funeral for Barbara Milford, 60, Cyril, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Full Gospel Church with Pastor Donnie Miller officiating, assisted by Pastor Randy Cocheran. She passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2010, in Oklahoma City. Burial will follow in Celestial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Cyril Funeral Home. Barbara was born January 24, 1950, in Chickasha, to Harold Clint and Juanita Jo Johnson Oswalt. She lived in Cyril her entire life. After she graduated from Cyril High School, she married and raised her family. After raising her family, she attended Caddo Kiowa Technical Center and received her Licensed Practical Nurse certification. She worked for Grady Memorial Hospital for several years then moved into home health nursing until she retired due to health problems. She was a faithful member of the Full Gospel Church of Cyril. She was part of the Circle of Love Women's Group at her church. Barbara enjoyed working as a volunteer nurse at Kid's Church Camp for many years. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends. Barbara is survived by one son, Bradley Shane Milford, Cyril; one daughter, Keri Lynn Jackson, Cyril; six grandchildren: Siearra Burns, Chase Burns, Mason Milford, Kendall Jackson, Kaden Jackson and Halie Milford; one great-grandson, Maddon Burns; and one brother and his wife, Joe and Alice Oswalt, Cyril. She was preceded in death by her parents. |
