Joyce [Woodrow] McCloskey

Graveside services for Mr. Joyce W. McCloskey, ages 84, of Cyril, Okla., were held on Monday, April 1, 2002, at 3 p.m., in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery.

McCloskey was born on Dec. 25, 1917, in Cement Township, Caddo County. He died on March 29, 2002.

Services were under the direction of the McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.

Thelma Inez [Brock] McCloskey

Graveside service for Thelma McCloskey, 93, of Cyril will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Celestial Gardens Cemetery in Cyril with Reverend Delbert McCurley officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Fletcher.

Mrs. McCloskey passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 in Chickasha, OK. She was 93 years old.

Thelma Inez [Brock] McCloskey was born July 2, 1920 in Cyril, Oklahoma to Melvin and Omalee [Duncan] Brock.

attended school in Cyril. After high school, she attended beauty school, worked for CR Anthony for 15 years in Weatherford, and managed the House of Fabric in Oklahoma City. She married Joyce McCloskey in 1977 and the couple made their home in Cyril. Thelma attended the First Christian Church of Cyril and was an active member of the quilters club. Thelma enjoyed threading needles and visiting with the ladies. She and Joyce loved to fish and taking trips in their travel trailer. Thelma especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by 1 stepdaughter, Dana DiCarlo and her husband David of NJ; step granddaughters and husbands: Angela and David Cimino, Adrienne Bourquin, and Andrea and Tom Bell; 3 step great grandchildren; 1 brother, Irvan and his wife Billie Brock; 4 nieces and husbands: Karen and David West, Tammie and Richard McDonald, Linda Ledford, and Judy and Walter Jones; 3 nephews and wives: Ron and Janie Brock, Danny and Marsha Brock, and Roger Brock; numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joyce McCloskey; her parents: Melvin and Omalee Brock; 2 brothers: Clyde and Harold Brock; 1 nephew, Tony Brock; and 1 niece, Lana Good.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The First Christian Church of Cyril Quilters Club.
