Bobby Dean Briscoe

CYRIL - Funeral service for Bobby Dean Briscoe, age 57, of Cyril, will be Monday, July 19, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Calvary Temple in Cyril.

Bobby Dean Briscoe left this world for his heavenly home on July 17, 2010, after a long hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Bobby was born on Sept. 17, 1952 to Dewey and Audrey Briscoein Duncan. Bobby grew up in the Countyline and Velma area. He went to Velma-Alma School and graduated in 1970. He went to work in the oil field upon graduation.

Bobby married Terry Lynn [Perkins] Briscoe on March 22, 1972.What a great union the Lord joined together. They were also blessed with two children, Jeff Briscoe and Jennifer [Briscoe] Carlson. A wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather, Bobby loved his family. He loved helping people. He enjoyed going to all the kids and grandkids sporting events, and to travel and fish. His favorite times were family get-togethers.

In 1995, he moved his family to the Cement-Cyril area. He and Terry owned and operated Wapco, Inc. a well service company, which he was so proud of. Because to bad health, he sold the company and retired in 2008.

Bobby grew up attending Countyline Baptist Church and later became a member of City Heights Baptist Church in Duncan. He loved the Lord and his church family. He used his beautiful voice for the Lord, and loved singing for his church.

Bobby leaves behind his best friend and wife, Terry Briscoe; son, Jeffrey Dean and wife, Candace, their kids Micah, Taylor, Peyton Briscoe; daughter, Jennifer and husband, Ty, their kids Kole and Averi Carlson; mother, Audrey Briscoe; sisters and husbands Connie and Vance Norton, Teri and Dan Fuller, Suzi and Marty Sikes and Sandra and Cameron Green; brothers and wives, Doug and Lana Briscoe, Danny and Rona Briscoe; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Raybelle Perkins; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Cheryl and David Atwell, Debbie Wilkinson, Donna and Mark Hargus and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dewey Briscoe, brother Johnny Briscoe, sister Patsy Davis and brother-in-law Dwayne Perkins.Burial will be in the Celestial Gardens in Cyril. Services are under the direction of McRay's Cyril Funeral Home.
