Carleta L. Schneider was born Friday, October 9, 1936 in Silo, Oklahoma to Victor Carl Arnold & Juanita (Cook) Arnold. She passed from this life on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years, 9 months and 4 days.

Carleta was a daughter, wife, sister and mother who cherished life and all her brothers and sisters. She enjoyed the yearly get together with her sisters, she called it Sister’s Day. She loved her children, grandchildren and family. Carleta enjoyed reading, cooking and shopping. She enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

She is survived by: husband of 24 years, Thomas Schneider of the home; sons, Rickey Lee Belcher of Fort Worth, Texas; Gene Parks of Fort Worth, Texas; Randy Joe Belcher and wife Diana of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Leslie Dodson of Denison, Texas; Randy Belcher II of Dalhart, Texas; Charolet Hammon of Fort Worth, Texas; Zachary Belcher of Fort Worth, Texas; great grandchildren, Destiny, Randall and John Dodson all of Denison, Texas; Natalie Belcher of Van Alstyne, Texas; brothers, Bob Arnold and wife Pat of Sherman, Texas; John Frank Arnold and wife Bobbie of Denison, Texas; Carrol Mack Arnold and wife Jessica of Pottsboro, Texas; Jerry E. Arnold and wife Marylin of Colbert, Oklahoma; David Arnold and wife Roseann of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters, Sue Smith and husband Kenneth of Mead, Oklahoma; Ann Bryant and husband Rickey of Durant, Oklahoma; Wanda Rose of Durant, Oklahoma; Jerline Monjey and husband Terry of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; Joyce Keith and husband Allen of Millcreek, Oklahoma; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Carleta was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Juanita Arnold; brothers, Dale, Darrel, Dickey, Phillip and Danny Arnold.

Family Hour will be held Friday, July 16, 2010 from 7-8 P.M. at Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home. Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 17, 2010, Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home. Rev. Dale Randolph will officiate. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Silo, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be: Gene Parks, Ricky Bryant, Phillip Arnold, Victor Cook, Garland White and Mickey Mason.
