Patsy Janelle Amlin age 87 of Mead, Oklahoma was born on February 10, 1931 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Virgil Lee and Audrey (Davidson) Pace. Janelle entered rest on May 20, 2018 in Denison, Texas.

Janelle married the love of her life Bud Amlin on October 19, 1949 and they moved to Bryan County in 1954. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. She was a faithful member of the Lord's Church in Mead for many years, and she enjoyed fishing, family, and loved going to watch her grandchildren play sports and band concerts.

Janelle was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Cameron Simmons; one sister and two brothers.

Janelle is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 68 plus years, Bud Amlin of the home; adored children, John Amlin and Brenda Simmons and husband Donny all of Mead; treasured grandchildren, Alicia Nicole Amlin, Jensen Simmons and Jacoby Simmons; precious greatgrandchildren, Bella and Jacoby Curiel and loved brother, Ronnie Battle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Dale Goad and Layne Heitz will officiate. Interment will follow in Silo Restland Cemetery with Chad York, Sid Lewis, Mike Brown, Bill Simmons, Frank Akin, and Jeff Hamblin serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-7 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
