Bob Robinson a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior in Durant, Oklahoma on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the age of 85. He was born on June 21, 1930 in Durant, Oklahoma to Oscar Jesse and Myron Gazel (Self) Robinson. Bob married Ruby Bullard in Durant, Oklahoma on April 24, 1969.

Bob served his country in the United States Army in Germany during the Korean war. He was a member and deacon of the Grace Baptist Church, but also preached at the Banty Baptist Church. Bob was the owner of Robinson Floor Covering and Tile for many years. He enjoyed his horses, cattle and reading. Later in life he faithfully prayed for clarity of mind to be able to quote God's Holy Scriptures.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his daughter, Gwen Colpas as husband Gary of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Sonya Page of Durant, Oklahoma and Brandi Siler of Durant, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Brittney Larkins of Durant, Oklahoma, Hailey Siler of Tyler, Texas, Ethan Siler of Durant, Oklahoma; great-great grandchild, and Brody Laxton of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Skip Robinson and wife Wilma of Durant, Oklahoma; nephews, Tim Robinson and Kevin Spence; also survived by numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Myron Robinson; sister, Donna Jean Spencer; brother, Armon "Jocko" Robinson.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 7:00~8:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A church service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Grace Baptist Church with Bro. Anthony Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille. Pallbearers will be Ethan Siler, Jeff Larkins, Dwight Robinson, Denis Boehme, Robert Boehme and Gary Buchanan.
