Tony Lee Walton

Tony Lee Walton passed away on January 19, 2023, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years old. He was born on September 27, 1965, in Denison, Texas, to Jerry and Alma (Goodin) Walton.

Tony was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed fishing, was an animal lover and his dog Fred was his beloved companion. In his younger days he loved hunting, he was a huge help and was always there to help take care of his family. He was a Christian and loved the Lord.

Left behind to cherish Tony's memory are his parents Jerry and Alma Walton of Calera, Oklahoma, his brother Jeff Walton and his wife Carolyn of Denison, Texas, and his sister Tresa and her husband Loren Mathias of Rockwall, Texas. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Jeffery and Robin Walton of Denison, Texas, Cynthia and Steven David Weatherly II of Fort Worth, Texas, Zachary and Christina Mathias of Prescott Valley, Arizona, and Ryan Mathias of Rockwall, Texas, and great niece and nephew: Nova Weatherly and Steven David Weatherly III.

Preceding Tony in death was his grandmothers: Opal Lee Norrie who lovingly called him "Tone-Tone" and Helen McMennamy.

Family hour will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 7-8:00pm at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Rev. Jerry Coffman officiating.
