Priscilla Marie Jones Johns was born on February 28, 1937, in Bennington, Oklahoma to Earl and Alma Lilley Wigley Jones and passed from this life on Tuesday, December 21, 2010, in Durant, Oklahoma at the age 73 years.

Marie has resided in Bryan county all of her life and attended school in Durant.

She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was a devoted homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She enjoyed dancing, crafts and dearly loved her family and friends. Marie will be greatly missed by all who knew and dearly loved her.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Richard L. LaBarron and William J. Johns; brothers, Dean and Bill Jones and sister, Edna Grantland.

Those loved ones left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Johns of Calera, Oklahoma and Beverly Galyean of Commerce, Texas; granddaughters, Destiny Holder and husband Johnny of Robinson, TX and Brandy Ray and husband Jonathan of Wolfe City, Texas; sister, Gracie Robinson and husband Larry of Roberta, Oklahoma; brother, Ross Jones of Durant, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Jared and Jace Holder of Robinson, Texas; and numerous other relatives and a host of dear and loved friends.

Services to celebrate Marie's life will be held on Thursday, December 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Jacob Toews will officiate.

Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera with Kevin Robinson, Rick Jones, Thomas Jones, Billy Calvin Jones, Randy Chandler, Bo Hemsley, Eugene Lambert and Jeff Robinson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
