Willard "Dusty" Henderson, Jr

Willard "Dusty" Eudene Henderson Jr. was born on September 7, 1949, in Denison, Texas to Willard Eudene Henderson Sr. and Earla (Evans) Henderson. Willard passed away on December 6, 2023, at his home in Calera, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Dusty married Laurie Janet Adams and they were blessed with many years together until Laurie"s passing on June 23, 2020. Dusty served in the National Guard until his Honorable Discharge and worked as a truck driver until his retirement. He loved doing woodworking and he enjoyed watching westerns on TV and reading a good western book.

Dusty is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Zachary Henderson.

Dusty is survived by his children Shelly Henderson, Curtis Henderson and wife Laura, and Eugene Henderson and his wife Belinda; grandchildren Caroline Bennett and husband Jonathan, Dakota Hammond and wife BreeAnna, Cameron Hammond and wife Tamra, Marina Henderson, Lariatt Henderson, Kyle, Thomas, and Samantha; 13 great grandchildren; sister Linda Alexander; brother-in-law Bennie C. Adams; sister-in-law Kim Robinson; and numerous nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 11, 2023, at Brown"s Funeral Service Chapel. Pastor Monty Wood will officiate. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera with Terry McGee, Justin McGee, Jarrod Marsh, Colt Wegar, Carter Wegar, Todd Amend, Kyle Ownes, and Thomas Owens serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Lariatt Henderson, Cameron Hammond, Dakota Hammond, and Jonathan Bennett. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 4-6 PM.
