Graveside services will be held for Lillian Hamilton, 82, of Calera, at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Rosehill Cemetery in Calera. The Rev. Cecil McGeehee will officiate.

Mrs. Hamilton, a resident of Calera, died Wednesday, July 3, 1996, at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, Durant.

The daughter of James and Sydney Pierce, she was born Sunday, March 1, 1914, in Childress, Texas.

She married Andrew S. Hamilton on September 23, 1933, in Calera.

She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Calera. Her one true joy was raising her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1965; a son, Sidney Eugene Hamilton in 1944; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Hamilton, in 1993.

Survivors include sons, Phil D. Hamilton and wife, Eula, of Mesquite, Texas, and Fred Hamilton of Calera and a brother, Frank Pierce of Whitney.
