Services for Shirley Fae Parrish Conner, 71, of Durant, who passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008 at her home, will be held and graduated high school in Madison, Arkansas.

She married Donald Glenn Conner on March 13, 1958 and she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, going out to eat breakfast, and spending time with her family and friends. Shirley will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Shirley was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Vennisa Parrish; parents, Herbert and Ophia Parrish; sister, Inez Presley; and brothers, Lebron, Jimmy, Jake, Jack and Paul Parrish.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Donald Glenn Conner of the home; sons, Jerry Parrish and wife Brenda and Donald Conner and wife Connie, all of Durant; daughters, Jackie Laughlin and soul mate Coy McWilliams and Sandra Trautman and husband, Dayle all of Durant; siblings, Janice Bryant, Joe Parrish, Billy Parrish, and Herbert Parrish; grandchildren, Misty Keeler, Jerri Holt, Stephanie Barkley, Jake Parrish, Ricky Davis, Belinda Wright, Daniel Davis, Regina Davis, Leslie Davis, Janie Smother, Jeri McGinty, Dustin Trautman, Darrian Trautman, Katie Martin, Amanda Conner, Deeanna Conner, Donald G. Conner, Donald D. Conner, Kimberly Hines, Johnathan Williams and Neshoba Williams; thirty three great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and a host of dear and loved friends.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera with Steven Wright, Leslie Davis, Ricky Davis, Curtis Conner, Daniel Davis, Jerry Parrish, and Duane Johnson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
