Julia May Martin Cross, a resident of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed away in Durant, Oklahoma on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 25 days.

She was born in Duke, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 20, 1930 to Doc and Roseann Farrell Martin.

She married Arthur Cross.

Julia May was a member of the Baptist Faith.

She loved gardening, sewing, watching old television shows and playing word search, but most of all she loved and cared for her family.

Mrs. Cross is survived by her sons, Bill Cross of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Wayne Cross of Durant, Oklahoma, Harley Cross of Durant, Oklahoma, Kenneth Cross of Durant, Oklahoma and Randy Cross of Blue, Oklahoma; daughters, Shirley Cross of Silo, Oklahoma, Connie Mahoney of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Betty Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee, Becky Wagoner of Mansville, Oklahoma, Patricia Brown of Mansville, Oklahoma and Debbie Ingargiola of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; brother, Tommy Martin of Durant, Oklahoma; sister, Dovie Henderson of Argyle, Florida; 27 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cross was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Roseann Martin, husband, Arthur Cross {he passed away July 27, 1993}; son, Arthur "Butch" Cross Jr.; sisters, Mary Smalle and Goldie Martin and brother, Lawerence Martin.

A graveside service in her honor will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Old Philadelphia, Oklahoma with Rev. David Ervin officiating.
