Rosemary Davis a resident of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the age of 64 years 2 months and 15 days. She was born in Caney, Oklahoma on Wednesday, July 21, 1948 to James Acie and Carrie (Hayes) Frederick. Rosemary married Bobby Joe Davis in Guthrie, Oklahoma on Wednesday, November 5, 1980. They were married for 35 years.

Rosemary was raised in Blue, Oklahoma and was a member of the Cresent Baptist Church in Logan County. She was a very spiritual person and loved having services in her home to honor her Lord. Rosemary was a talented person and loved to sing and play her guitar. She collected dolls. Rosemary dedicated herself to caring for her family and cherished time spent together with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters, Mary Smith of Norman, Oklahoma, Vickie Mays of Arkansas, Barbara Whitmire of Ohio, Shelia Folsum of Bennington, Oklahoma and Bobbie Davis of Ohio; sons, Michael Smith and wife Melissa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Eric Davis of Oklahoma; granddaughters, Paytyn Smith of Norman, Oklahoma and Joanna Moomey of Norman, Oklahoma, Aspen and Caleb Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 16 other grandchildren; brother, Harold Frederick and wife Jean of Newalla, Oklahoma; husband of 35 years, Bobby Joe Davis of the home; sisters-in-law, Linda, Faye, Sweetie, Jeanice, Doris Ann and Doris Jean; brothers-in-law, Vernon, Jimmie and Steve.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, James and Carrie Frederick; brothers, Gary, Leon and James Frederick; sisters, Carrie and Lawanna Frederick, Wanda Fronterhouse, Louise Frederick, Valda Jones and Edna Faye Harris.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Blue, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Norman Johnson, James Johnson, Paul Harris, Jr., Shannon Frederick, James Frederick, Alton Morris and A.J. Davis.
