WILLIE PEARL FRAZIER

Willie Pearl Frazier went to be with our Lord on December 5, 2004. She was
born on September 15, 1935, in Oberlin, Oklahoma to Reverend Paul Bagby, Sr.
and Ola Alberta Block Bagby.
Willie Pearl was a graduate of Bakersfield Adult School. She was a community
contact counselor and a teacher's aide for the Bakersfield City School
District for nineteen years. In 1990, she retired. She was also an employee at the
Martin Luther King, Jr. Park Facility for the Bakersfield City Recreation
Department during this time. After her retirement from the school district she
was employed as a store clerk. Williie Pearl was a faithful Sunday School
member until her illness prevented her attendance. She also enjoyed her puzzles
and bowling.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Paul Bagby and Ola Alberta
Bagby, four brothers, Homer, George William, Freddie B. and Freddie D. Bagby and
her sister, Ola Jearl Lee.
Willie Pearl Frazier leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her
homegoing; her special husband, Nathan E. Howard; five daughters, Sharon Green and
husband, Vincent Green, Beverly A. Moland and her fiancé, Lyle Furlow, Deborah Ann
Richardson, Patricia A. Symonds and husband, Tim Symonds, Cheryl Denise Abron
and husband, Paul A. Abron; two sons, Ronald Edward Thomas and wife, Shay and
Kenneth W. Frazier all of Bakersfield, California; three sisters, Juanita
Williams, Allie Mae Frazier and husband, Larry Frazier and Lorene Johnson; three
brothers, Billy Joe Bagby, Willard Bagby, Sr. and wife, Sarah, and Paul Bagby,
Jr., all of Bakersfield, California; 8 grandsons, 15 granddaughters, 10 great
great grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and cherished
friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Willie Pearl Frazier's memory to
St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 East Brundage Lane, Bakersfield,
California 93307.
Viewing and visitation to start Thursday, December 9, 2004, at 11:00 a.m.
with an hour of meditation to be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chapel of
Rucker's Mortuary. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 10, 2004,
at 11:00 a.m., at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 E. Brundage Lane.
Rev. Tyree D. Toliver is officiating with interment to follow at Union
Cemetery.
