Services for Bobbie Ruth Hatcher, 83, of Bokchito, who passed away on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at her residence, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Bokchito. The Revs. Darel Bunch and Fred Ward will be officiating.
Bobbie was born on Wednesday, May 6, 1925, in Pittsburg, Texas, to George William and Annie Ethel (Howell) Smith. She married Arvil Lee Hatcher on February 14, 1943, in Grandfield.
Bobbie was retired from Texas Instruments where she had worked for over 20 years as a certified solder. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bokchito and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She loved growing roses.
Bobby was preceded by her parents, her son Jimmy Walker Hatcher, four brothers and sisters, Edward, Inez, Geneva, Elizabeth, Jack, Boots, Billie and Joy.
