Brenda Whittington Cheshire entered into life on December 4, 1963 in Ardmore, Oklahoma born to Hoyle Dale Whittington and Virginia May (Shans) Whittington and entered into eternal life on Friday, July 22, 2011 at her home in Mead at the age of 47 years, 7 months and 18 days. Brenda graduated from Silo High School and Kiamichi VoTech where she earned her associates degree in nursing and she worked as a LPN for many years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Durant and she enjoyed crocheting, sewing and her greatest joy and love were her two girls Whitney and Amy.

Brenda is survived by her daughters Whitney and Amy Cheshire of Mead; parents Dale and Virginia Whittington of Mead; brothers Larry Dale Whittington and wife Brenda of Mead and Chris Whittington of Mead; nephews Ronnie Whittington and wife Tiffiny of Mead and Allan Whittington and wife Brandy of Durant; great nephews, Billy Dale, Cutter, Jordon, Dalton and Austin; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family hour Monday July 25, 2011, 6-8 PM at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel. Services held Tuesday July 26, 2011, 2:00 PM at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel.
