J. R. Adkins, 67 of Mead, Oklahoma passed away Monday, October 27, 2014 at the Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas.

He was born on June 1, 1947 in Madill, Oklahoma to the late Walter Adkins and Berthel Morgan Adkins Samuel.

 Visitation will be Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a family hour from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Watts Funeral Home , Kingston, Oklahoma.

Services will be Friday, October 31, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Watts Funeral Home , Kingston, Oklahoma. Randy Lewis and Danny Spoon will officiate the service.

Interment will be at the Mead Cemetery, Mead, Oklahoma.

Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home in Madill, Oklahoma.
