April 3, 1942 ~ March 16, 2024

On Saturday, March 16, 2024, Zenobia Ann Pettett, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at age 81.

Zenobia was born on April 3, 1942, in Sentinel, Oklahoma, to Samuel Edward Cothran and Grace Elizabeth Smith. On June 1, 1963, she married Dr. Jack Pettett. They raised two daughters, Ann and Leigha, and a son, Jason. Together, they built a loving and welcoming home with a lasting legacy.

Known as Granny to her loved ones, Zenobia was passionate about her family. Granny enjoyed spending time outside tending to her garden, caring for her chickens, and cooking for her friends and family. She was able to travel and make countless memories with her family. She is remembered for her gentle, warm, and hospitable nature and her deep contentment in the Lord.

She is predeceased by her father, Samuel Cothran; her mother, Grace Cothran; her brother, Eddy Cothran; and her husband, Jack Pettett. She is deeply missed by her daughter Ann Wickersham and her husband, Chris (and their children: Drew Wickersham, his wife, Mazi, and their daughter, Nora; Grace Stogner, her husband, Ben, and their daughter, Eloise; Claire Wickersham; and Jaclyn Wickersham); her son, Jason Pettett, and his wife, Casey (and their children Noah and Sydney); and her daughter Leigha Pettett.

A time of visitation and remembrance will take place at her Family Hour at First Baptist Church in Stonewall, Oklahoma on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend JP Williams officiating. Zenobia will be laid to rest following her service at 2:30 p.m. in Matoy Cemetery. The family asks that guests wear spring colors in her memory.

Those serving as pallbearers are Jason Pettett, Chris Wickersham, Drew Wickersham, Noah Pettett, Ben Stogner, and Luke Hankins.

Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church, 330 S. Harrison, Stonewall, Oklahoma 74871.

Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 North 5th Street, Durant, Oklahoma 74701. www.holmescoffeymurray.com.
