A service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Kemp Baptist Church for Helen Louise Lawrence Miller, 84, Bonham, Texas, who died Saturday, June 18, 2005, at Calera Manor Nursing Home. The Revs. Roger Speers and Herbert Eugene Smith will officiate.

The daughter of W.A. and Mary Agnes Cox Lawrence, she was born February 21, 1921 in Anna, Texas.

She was a homemaker, educated at St. Mary's Catholic School in Sherman, Texas, and was of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Miller was a welder at the ammunition plant in Sherman during World War II. She was also a beautician.

She had lived in Kemp for 11 years before moving to Bonham in 1996.

She married Andrew "Andy" Miller August 23, 1958, in Durant.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband on January 9, 1996, and three sisters, Billie Earline Horton, Martha Ann Hankins and Betty Ruth Lawrence.

Survivors include her son, Larry Miller and wife Charlotte of Bonham, Texas; brother, W. A. Lawrence Jr. and wife Ruby of St. Louis, Missouri, sister, Barbara Clifford and husband John of Fort Worth, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Kemp Cemetery with Terry Waitman Jr., Robert Waitman, John Englutt, Jimmy Walden, Colby Whatley and Dave Reynolds serving as pallbearers.

Family hour is 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert is handling arrangements.
