Rev. Inez Duckworth a resident of Kemp, Oklahoma left this life and joined her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the age of 83. She was born in Honey Grove, Texas to Wesley and Beulah (Holcomb) Justus on October 4, 1932. Inez married Ray Duckworth in Bonham, Texas on August 23, 1952.

Mrs. Duckworth dedicated her life to sharing the Word of God with those she met, and through her service as pastor to the Pentecostal Church of God in Durant and Achille. She cared for her home and family, but also worked for the Levi Strauss Co. in Denison for a time. Inez enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts and talking with those she knew and met.

Rev. Duckworth is survived by her husband, Ray of the home; daughters, Jody Duckworth of Denison, Texas and Elana Smith of Cartwright, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Michael Ricks of Baldwin, Missouri, Christi Ricks of Lago Vista, Texas, Misti Wines of Achille, Oklahoma, Joel Gibby of Durant, Oklahoma, Salina Smith of Denison, Texas and Christopher Lance Smith, Sr., of Cartwright, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Sally Megan Duncan of New Braunfel, Texas, Brittany Armstrong of Achille, Oklahoma, Payton Armstrong of Achille, Oklahoma, Tabitha Ricks of Denison, Texas, Ezekiel Gibby of Durant, Oklahoma, Destiny Gibby of Durant, Oklahoma, Hannah Wilson of Bakersfield, California, DeMarcus Smith of Pottsboro, Texas, Tyrese Smith of Denison, Texas, Kolbi Droz of Denison, Texas, Christopher Lance Smith, Jr., of Denison, Texas and Daphanie Smith of Denison, Texas.

Rev. Duckworth was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Justus and Beulah Horn; daughter, Diana Duckworth Ricks; great-grandson, Michael Ricks.

Family hour will be from 6-7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 17 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 18 at the Kemp Cemetery with Pastor James Varner officiating.
