Loretta Sue Summers, 78, of Durant, Oklahoma died after prolonged disability, Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Woodlands Place Nursing Home in Denison, Texas.

Loretta Sue was born January 19, 1941 in Bokchito, Oklahoma to Haskell and Lorene Paty. She was married to Wendell Reuben Nowlin on October 21, 1962. He preceded her in death October 25, 2019.

Survivors include sons Wendell Cary Nowlin of Oklahoma, Michael Leon Nowlin and daughter Dawn Dee Nowlin of Texas and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a sister Judy Paty Ballard of Sherman, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Clovis Leon Paty.

Memorial services for Loretta Sue will be at Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant, Oklahoma, 2 P.M., December 4, 2019, Pastor C.D. Ballard officiating. Burial at Highland Cemetery
