Christine Smith was born on Saturday, March 10, 1923 in Durant, Oklahoma to Charles Bledsoe & Susan Della (Milam) Bledsoe. She passed from this life on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 in Oklahoma City , Oklahoma at the age of 87 years.

Christine married B.B. Smith in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ faith.

She is survived by her son, Gary and wife Cheryl Smith of Del City, Oklahoma; daughter, Cheryl Perkins and husband Lynn of Norman, Oklahoma; granddaughters, Alisha Bible and husband Daron of Allen, Oklahoma; Vicki Ermeling and husband Bart of Austin, Texas; Angela Sutton and husband Jeff of Shawnee, Oklahoma; grandsons, Dean Richardson and wife Kathy of Bonham, Texas; Heath Richardson and wife Shannon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 11 great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Christine was also preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Susan Bledsoe; infant brother; sisters, Charline McDonough, Stella Mae McDonough, Edyth Davis, and Ona Mae Stanford.

Family Hour will be from 12:00-2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 16, 2010 before the funeral at the Northwest Church of Christ in Durant. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, August 16, 2010, Northwest Church of Christ in Durant. Bro. Brent Adams will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Dean Richardson, Heath Richardson, Jeff Sutton, T.C. Richardson, Rex Richardson and Bart Ermeling.
