Service held for John A. Pearce

Service was held today for John Albert "J. A." Pearce, 71, in the Murray Chapel. Pearce died Saturday in a local hospital.

Officiating was the Rev. Noble Morris and Rev. S. B. Lowry with burial in Highland cemetery.

He married Lola Fredrick in 1925 at Sherman.

Survivors include his wife, Lola; sons, J. D. of Durant, Don of Liberty, Missouri and Ron of Austin, Texas; daughters, Nadine Burris of Snyder, Texas and Delphine Weaver of Denison; a brother, H. B. of Augusta, Kansas and sisters, Mattie DeFord of Altus and Helen Grice of Durant.

Pallbearers were Bill Wells, Kenneth Moore, Randy Moore, Bill Pierot, Andrew Morris and Gene Suter.
