Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Highland Cemetery in Durant for Joyce “Morgan” Niblett, 79, of Durant, who died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, in Durant. Bro. Fred Resz will officiate.

Joyce was born Saturday, Jan. 5, 1929, in Salisbury, Md., to Milton and Hilda Morgan. She married Carl Thomas Niblett Feb. 22, 1946, in Salisbury, Md. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Being a homemaker and taking care of her family was her greatest joy.

She was preceded in death by her husband and sons Carl Niblett II and Gregory Niblett.

She is survived by daughters Debbie Mitchell and husband Larry and Lori Hopkins and husband Mark, all of Durant; grandsons Carl Niblett III, Christian Hopkins, both of Durant, and Larry “Butch” Mitchell of Kansas City, Kan.; granddaughters Ashleigh Niblett, Kari House, Brittany and Alexis Hopkins, all of Durant, and Jennifer Jones of Missouri; great-grandson Devin Walton of Durant; brothers Bobby Morgan and Richard Morgan and wife Leona, all of Salisbury, Md.; special sister-in-law Elizabeth Niblett of Salisburg, Md.; and special friend Mary Rose of Durant.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Durant.

Family hour is scheduled for from 6-7 p.m. today at the Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.

Coffey-Murray Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
