Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Highland Cemetery in Durant for Joyce Morgan Niblett, 79, of Durant, who died Monday, September 29, 2008, in Durant. Bro. Fred Resz will officiate.

Joyce was born Saturday, January 5, 1929, in Salisbury, Maryland to Milton and Hilda Morgan.

She married Carl Thomas Niblett February 22, 1946, in Salisbury, Maryland.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Being a homemaker and taking care of her family was her greatest joy.

She was preceded in death by her husband and sons, Carl Niblett II and Gregory Niblett.

She is survived by daughters, Debbie Mitchell and husband Larry and Lori Hopkins and husband Mark, all of Durant; grandsons, Carl Niblett III, Christian Hopkins, both of Durant, and Larry "Butch" Mitchell of Kansas City, Kansas; granddaughters, Ashleigh Niblett, Kari House, Brittany and Alexis Hopkins, all of Durant, and Jennifer Jones of Missouri; great-grandson ,Devin Walton of Durant; brothers, Bobby Morgan and Richard Morgan and wife Leona, all of Salisbury, Maryland; special sister-in-law, Elizabeth Niblett of Salisburg, Maryland and special friend, Mary Rose of Durant.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Durant.

Family hour is scheduled for from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. today at the Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.

Coffey-Murray Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
