Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at Brown's Chapel for Lola V. Pearce, 88, of Durant. Pastor Leamon Bullard will officiate, Mrs. Pearce died March 6, 1997, at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma.
The daughter of John and Suda Ann Gwin Fredrick, she was born June 9, 1908 in Mead.
A lifetime resident of Bryan County, she was a housewife and member of Robinson Baptist Church in Blue.
She married John Albert "Abb" Pearce on July 11, 1926 in Durant.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include sons Don Pearce of Caney, and Ron Pearce of Seattle, Wash.; daughters Nadine Heard of Snyder, Texas, and Lola Delphine Weaver of Durant; a brother, John Fredrick of Temple, Texas; 25 grandchildren: 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral Home.
John Weaver, Lee Earley, Albet Williams, Brandon Jones, Glenn Walsh and R. Wade Schroeder will serve as pallbearers.
Family hour will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. today (Sunday) at Brown's Funeral Home.
