Billy Wayne Hauk

Surrounded by his family, Billy Wayne Hauk met his Savior and made his journey to Heaven on May 5, 2019 at the age of 68. A celebration of his life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma with Pastor Darel Bunch officiating. His final resting place will be at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Harrod, Jim Adair, Mike Overton, Dylan Overton, Chris Allen, Blake Allen and Landon Johnson

Billy was the son of Pauline and Willie Hauk. He was born September 12, 1950. He married Judy Lemonds Overton on October 17, 1990 and they enjoyed 28 years together. Billy graduated from Bokchito High School in 1968. He attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University for 1 year and then decided to join his dad on the family farm. He loved his country and served in the US Army. Through the years, he enjoyed farming and briefly owned a grocery store in Colbert. He spent many of his later years driving a big 18-wheeler. Billy’s greatest joy in life was his son, Aaron as well as spending time with his family. He loved to cook and share his culinary skills with others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Pauline Hauk.

Billy is survived by his wife, Judy of the home, son, Aaron Hauk of Calera, Oklahoma, sister, Patricia Carter of Tulsa, Oklahoma, daughter, Shelley Allen and husband Chris, Durant, Oklahoma, son, Mike Overton and wife Dana, Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Blake Allen and wife Melissa, Durant, Oklahoma, Elise Johnson and husband Landon, Durant, Oklahoma, Dylan Overton and wife Tiffany, Durant, Oklahoma and great grandchildren, James Allen, Avory Bottkol and Elias Bottkol and numerous cousins and extended family and friends.

The family request in lieu of flowers that donations can be made to the Wade Cemetery, Calvary Baptist Church or to the charity of your choice. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
