Emma McIntire Ford, a resident of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the age of 83.

She was born on December 19, 1932 in DeQueen, Arkansas to Gilbert B. and Sendy Jane Watkins McIntyre.

Emma married Walter Vern Ford on December 20, 1949.

She dedicated her life to caring for her home and family.

She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church.

Emma had a soft spot in the heart for cats.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her sister, Della B. Blue of Bokchito, Oklahoma; nephews, Clarence Blue, Jr. of Arkoma, Oklahoma, Kelly Blue of Bokchito, Oklahoma and Kenneth Blue of Arkoma, Oklahoma; and niece, Debbie Tucker of Fairview, Texas and Diane Stroud of Duncan, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Sendy McIntyre; husband, Walter Ford and brothers, Odie and Jessie McIntyre.

A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Highland Cemetery Chapel in Durant with Bro. Charley Henson officiating.

Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Clarence Blue, Jr., Kenneth Blue, Kelly Blue and Jon Michael Blue.
