Wilma Hunt Bell

Wilma Bell a longtime resident of Boswell, Oklahoma passed from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior in Denison, Texas on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the age of 93 years 4 months and 29 days. She was born to Ulse and Bessie (Brown) Hunt in Brown, Oklahoma on Monday, April 18, 1921. Wilma Janice Hunt was married to Harvey Bell who preceded her in death.

Wilma was a faithful, active member of the Boswell Baptist Church where she attended Sunday School and church weekly. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Wilma cherished her family and friends and considered them the greatest blessings.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her daughter, Betty Benjamin of Lafayette, Indiana; grandson, Mike Benjamin and wife Rosemary of Lafayette, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Jessica Bogan and husband Ed of Lafayette, Indiana and Bret Benjamin of Chicago, Illinois; great-great grandchildren, Elle and Alexa Bogan of Lafayette, Indiana; nephews, William Bell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kenneth Morton and wife Joyce of Durant, Oklahoma; nieces, Paula Booker and husband Paul of Plano, Texas, Jamie Spencer and husband Kenneth of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Joy Sue Dancer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; dear friends, Larry and Pat Schaef of Boswell, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harvey Bell; parents, Ulse and Bessie Brown; sisters, Alma Roseboom, Marie Stringer and Maxine Bunting.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Highland Cemetery Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Rev. Gene Witt officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
