Reva Omega Walker Gage, 88, departed this life Wednesday, December 24, 2003, at the age of 88 years, one month and three days.

The daughter of Alpheus and Emma McDaniel Walker, she was born November 21, 1915, in Booneville, Arkansas

One word best describes her - servant. She worked many years as a waitress to help support her family and put her children through college. In her life as a preacher's wife, she hosted countless people in her home. She was truly a servant of her fellow man and of her Lord.

Mrs. Gage is survived by her husband, Ralph Gage, El Dorado, Ark.; daughters, Madalyn Cordell, El Dorado, Nell Franklin, Springdale, Ark., Elaine Johnson, West Monroe, La., Brenda Clark, Greenwood, Ark.; sons, Dennis Gage, Benton, Ark., Scott Gage, Fayetteville, Ark., 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Coleman Avenue Church of Christ in Colbert with Quinton Gage officiating.

Burial will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert.

Memorials may be made to the Arch L. Ferguson Foundation, P.O. Box 1839, Arlington, Texas 76004-1839.

American Funeral Services, Denison, Texas, is handling arrangements.

"Servant of God, well done, thy glorious warfare is past. The battle's fought, the race is run, and thou are crowned at last."
