Duane Crabtree, a resident of Colbert, Oklahoma, and beloved family member, left this life in Durant on Saturday August 25th, 2018 at the age of 78. He was born in Denison, Texas to Curtis Calvin and Anna (Potter) Crabtree on August 18, 1940. Duane married Imogene Rich in Grayson County, Texas in 1969. She preceded him in death.

Duane spent his life farming and working his land. He proudly served the state of Oklahoma in the Oklahoma National Guard and was employed by Reed Tools. Duane enjoyed being outside hunting and the quiet solitude of fishing. He was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.

Mr. Crabtree is survived by his children, Johnny Duane Crabtree and wife Cindy of Idabel, Oklahoma, Curtis Gene Crabtree of Durant, Oklahoma, Shelia Ann Aldridge and husband Johnny of Sherman, Texas, Shelly Lynette Sweeney of Durant, Oklahoma, Calvin Lee Crabtree and wife Pam of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Charles Daniel Crabtree and wife Misty of Colbert, Oklahoma, and Benjamin Melton Crabtree of Durant, Oklahoma; beloved grandchildren, Tiffany Camille Crabtree of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Emily Dawn Taylor of Wichita Falls, Texas, Amber Nicole Crabtree of Atoka, Oklahoma, Krysta Lynelle Buchanan of Beaumont, Texas, Christy Ann Farrell of Achille, Oklahoma, Jessica Nicole Gray of Grayson County, Texas, Maranda Marie Meade of Achille, Oklahoma, Michael Tanner Coble of Achille, Oklahoma, Stephen Hunter Coble of Achille, Oklahoma, Brittani Michelle Minor of Colbert, Oklahoma, Jacob Dean Crabtree of Colbert, Oklahoma, Jeannie Nicole Crabtree of Durant, Oklahoma, Benjamin Duane Crabtree of Durant, Oklahoma; 18 great-grandchildren; and Sisters, Bobbie Ramey of Colbert, Oklahoma and Bernice Langford of Hamilton City, Texas.

Mr. Crabtree was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Imogene Crabtree and daughter-in-law, Deana Crabtree.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM at the pavilion at the Garden of Memories Cemetery on Wednesday August 29th in Colbert, Oklahoma with Bro. Larry Beach officiating.
