Shirley Ann Hancock Jennings

Shirley Ann Hancock Jennings was born on December 20, 1937 in Clarksville, Texas to Britain Jewell and Camilla Mae Barnett Hancock. Shirley passed away on June 13, 2018 in Plano, Texas at the age of 80.

Shirley was married to H. Mike Jennings and they were blessed with two children, Brit and Terri. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Bokchito. Shirley volunteered at First Friends Pre School and Southeastern. Most of all, Shirley dearly loved her Lord and Savior, family and friends.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, H. Mike Jennings; parents, Britain and Camilla Hancock and brother, Larry Hancock.

Shirley is survived by her children, Brit Jennings and wife Judy of Plano, TX and Terri Rogers and husband Gordon (Cotton) of Bokchito; grandchildren, Tamra Rogers and husband Mike of Bokchito, Jamie Hawthorne and husband Destry of Durant, Brooke Fields and husband Tyler of Durant, Josh Jennings and wife Nicole of Mankato, MN and Britney Bishop and husband Colton of Plano, TX; great grandchildren, Davis, Madisyn and McKynzi Rogers, Caden and Cooper Hawthorne and Luke and Samuel Jennings; sisters, Billie Loe and husband William of Prescott, AR, Mary Estep and husband Jerry of Atoka, OK and Nina Calhoon and husband Tom of Arkadelphia, AR; sister in law, Phyllis Hancock of Rogers, AR and numerous extended family and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 18, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church in Bokchito. Pastor Kent Wooster will officiate. Interment will follow in Bokchito Cemetery with Mike Rogers, Destry Hawthorne, Tyler Fields, Josh Jennings, Colton Bishop and Steven Estep serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6-8 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
