Park Goad was born Thursday, October 2, 1919 in Smith Lee, Oklahoma to E.P. and Alice (Allison) Goad . He passed from this life on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years 3 months and 28 days. Mr. Goad was member of the Presbyterian church.

Park was a farmer and enjoyed fishing and working with his cattle, He loved gardening and working in his shop.he loved to tell stories and joke also with his family and friends.

His Survivors Include:Wife: Letha Goad of Durant, Oklahoma Grandson: Daray Schuessler & wife LisaofDurant,OklahomaGranddaughter Kolinda Moffatt & husband Russell of Soper,Oklahoma Grandson,Karl Schuessler of Boswell,Oklahoma, Sisters, Ada Swearengin of Denison, Texas Ann Manning & husband Tom of North Carolina,Great-Grandchildren, Chelsey,Cameron and Ryan Schuessler, Kaury Hamill, Lane Moffatt, Kyla and Konner Schuessler,Sisters-in-Law Maudie May of Bellflower, California,Pat Goad of Durant, Oklahoma, Gertrude Goad of Durant,Oklahoma, Brother-In-Law, Jack Minyard and wife Joyce of Lancaster, Texas. Host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Goad was preceded in death by Parents, E.P. and Alice Goad; Daughter, Sue Schuessler; Two Brothers, Clint and Dewey Goad; Sisters, Kathleen Wingfield, Mary Nelson and Lou Powell.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Coffey ~ Murray Chapel Durant,Oklahoma.Officiating the service will be Bro. Charles Williams. Pallbearers Russell Moffatt,Harold Wingfield, Johnny Wingfield,Shawn Pierce Mike Andrews,Steve Wingfield Honorary Pallbearers Thomas Self, Wallace Reynolds, Eudis St. John, Leon Kapchinsky,Ed Ingram, Donnie Sherefield. Internment will be at the Bokchito Cemetery in Bokchito.

Family hour will be Tuesday, February 2, 2010 6-7 P.M. Coffey-Murray Funeral Home.
