Betty Page Burns

Betty Burns a resident of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life and joined her Savior on Saturday, August 6, 2016. She was born on May 12, 1937 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Roy and Edna (Ware) Page. Betty was married to Ray Burns.

Betty was a faithful member of the Bennington Baptist Church. She was a Licensed Profession Nurse by trade working for the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas for over 15 years. Betty enjoyed caring for her flowers, sowing and watching an abundance of vegetables grow in her garden, ranching, and cooking delicious meals for her family.

Mrs. Burns is survived by her beloved sons, Danny Williams of Washington State and David Williams of Durant, Oklahoma; grandson, Roy Burns of Durant, Oklahoma; and step-son, Rocky Burns of Denison, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Edna Page; husband, Ray Burns; 1 sister and 2 brothers; and granddaughter, Meranda Williams.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Bro. Jesse West officiating. Interment will follow at the Bokchito Cemetery.
