Bobby Addington

Bobby Addington a loving husband, son, father, and papa passed away at his home in Denison, Texas on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 59. Bobby was the son of Earl Addington and Betty (Mullins) Addington born on November 10, 1959 in Akron, Ohio. Later in life Bobby married Pamela Tobler in Nickelsville, Virginia on August 11, 2006.

Bobby was a family man who loved spending time with his kids and especially his grandchildren. He was a true outdoorsman, who enjoyed shooting guns, cooking on the grill, going on vacations to off the map areas, staying in log cabins, and “true” camping. He enjoyed playing chess and pool with anyone he could, as long as he could win. Bobby loved to give anyone and everyone a hard time especially his wife Pamela. He was someone who always enjoyed doing things for other. Spoiling his grandchildren was his favorite thing to do!

Bobby is survived by his wife Pamela Addington of Denison, Texas. Father, Earl Addington of Kingsport, Tennessee. Children: Jami Rowley of Charlotte, Michigan, Dustin Addington and wife Jamie of Rockwood, Tennessee, Brian Kolb and wife Lisa of Fort Worth, Texas, Kevin Kolb of Grapevine, Texas, Olivia Patterson and husband Trey of Denison, Texas, Brandon Addington of Denison, Texas. Sisters: Michelle Poteet of Kingsport, Tennessee, Lisa Wright of Mendota, Virginia, and Eugene Addington of Gate City, Virginia. Grandkids: Mikey, Aliyah, Brailey, Brayden, Whitley, Rylynn, Elena, Calli, Gracie, Jordan and Hadleigh who is due in February 2019. Mother-in-law Joyce Tobler of Bokchito, Oklahoma. Special Additional kids: Marlena Chuck of Howe, Texas and Ben Frith of Denison, Texas. Also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

Bobby is preceded in death by his mother Betty Addington, Grannie Esther Jones, and father-in-law Weldon Tobler.

Bobby was loved and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

Family hour for Bobby Addington will be on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma from 6-8PM. Graveside services will be at Bokchito Cemetery December 5, 2018 at 10AM with Brandon Addington, Brian Kolb, Kevin Kolb, Trey Patterson, and Ben Frith serving as pallbearers, and Rylynn Glover, Bradyen Kolb, Whitley Kolb, Gracie Kolb, and Elena Patterson as honorary pallbearers.
