Letha Faye Shastid a resident of Bennington, Oklahoma passed from this life into the next in Durant, Oklahoma on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the age of 58. She was born in Dallas, Texas on April 29, 1957 to Lloyd Douglas and Lenora (Gilbert) Shastid.

Letha dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She was a member of the Midland Community Church. Letha enjoyed watching the Western Channel on television. She loved her family and grandchildren above all else and cherished the time the spent together.

Ms. Shastid is survived by her sons, Michael David Geiger and wife Laura of Bellview, Iowa, Donnie Ray Geiger and his wife Mirabel of Ft. Worth, Texas, Ronnie Dwayne Geiger and wife Christine of Dallas, Texas and Steven Douglas Shastid and wife Holly of Bennington, Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, A.J. Shastid and wife Lisa, Ray Shastid and wife Rebecca of Bennington, Oklahoma and David Shastid and wife Vickie of Wilson, Oklahoma.

Ms. Shastid was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lenora Shastid; and sister, Rita Shastid Venable.

A service in her honor of her life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 19, 2015 at the Wade Baptist Church in Wade, Oklahoma with Bro. Leonard Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Bennington Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Lance Thompson, Rick Vandenburg, Chris Roman, Steven Douglas Shastid, Jerry Miller and Zack Roman.
