Jeremy Vaughn "Moose" Louis of Durant, Oklahoma passed way in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the age of 31 years, 7 months and 4 days.

He was born to Byars C. Louis and Eleanor Lanier Palmer in Talihina, Oklahoma on Monday, December 29, 1980.

Jeremy was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. He graduated from Idabel High School in 1999 and went on to attend the Kiamichi Vo-Tech.

Jeremy was a member of the Methodist Church.

He enjoyed sports and was a avid OU fan.

Mr. Louis is survived by his mother, Eleanor Palmer and step-father Edward Palmer of the home; sister, Nanette Wylie and husband Wayne of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Micah Louis of Durant, Oklahoma; numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Byars Louis; grandparents; William and Pearlie Louis, Joe and Minerva Fobb and uncles, Nelson Louis, Claude Billy and the Arnold Bully Family.

Family Hour will be from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Homel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Holmes Coffey Murray Chapel with Rev. Dan McLemore and Rev. Olan Williams officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Williams, Mark Williams, Brandon Beller, Rodney Johnson, Chase Batson and David Battiest. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Lopez and Gabriel Louis.

Interment will follow at the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma.
