Dan Ray Kelly, Jr.

May 23, 1953 - January 11, 2012

Dan Ray Kelly, Jr., 58, of Moore, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at his home.

The son of Vivian Josephine Hiser and Dan Ray Kelly, Sr., he was born May 23, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Dan was a firefighter in the US Marine Corps and retired after reaching the rank of Master Sergeant. After his retirement, he worked for Cox Communications for several years.

He was a member of the NRA, DAV and First Baptist Church in Bennington, Oklahoma.

In his spare time, Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything that involved the outdoors. He also spent many hours shopping at junk stores, building and fixing computers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Ray Kelly, Sr. and a sister, Carol Kelly.

He is survived by two daughters, Heather Anne Monzon and husband Gil Andrei of Rochester Hills, Michigan and Stephanie Lynn Fowler-Kelly of Oceanside, California; two grandsons, Joseph L. Fowler, Jr. and Tyler M. Fowler; his parents Bobby and Vivian Tumelson of Blanchard; two brothers, Kenny Hiser and wife Sherry of Maysville, and Rick Kelly and wife Audrey of Checotah; step-sisters, Donna Brooks of Hydro, Robbie Gregorius of Lafayette, Colorado, Taressa Long of Chandler, Arizona; several nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at New Life Baptist Church in Blanchard.

Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.
