Bill Haislip, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and resident of Bokchito, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at the age of 69. He was born on July 23, 1948, to Archie Chester and Catherine (Graham) Haislip in Direct, Texas. Bill married Mary Lynne (Gierloff) Haislip in Yucaipa, California on August 14, 1971.

Mr. Haislip is survived by his wife Mary Lynne Haislip; sons Michael and Chris Haislip, and daughter Vickie Lopez; grandchildren Aaron, Sarah, and Joshua Haislip, Zac Sterchak, Kryzxenna and Ezekiel Haislip; and Tricia and Sarai Lopez; great-grandchildren Jax and Zoe Rodriguez; and siblings James and John Haislip, Dovie Wigley, Devon Harvill, Levon Martin, Janet Knight, and Barbara Robbins.

Mr. Haislip was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Catherine Haislip; and brothers, Dale, Stonmon, Jerry, and Gerry Haislip.

Family Hour will be from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Friday, December 1, 2017, at Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A funeral mass in Bill's memory will follow at St. Williams Catholic Church from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM in Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM at the Bennington Cemetery with Fr. Valerian Gonsalves officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Haislip, Carlos Lopez, Andrew Rodriguez, Aaron Haislip, Joshua Haislip, John (Jay) Haislip, Michael Martin, and Jim Heil. A reception for family and friends will follow directly after the committal at the Harold Chitwood Community Center at the Bennington High School.
