Marty Fox, a proud member of the Choctaw Nation, and resident of Bennington, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday April 23, 2018 at the age of 56. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on May 10, 1961 to Elmer and Irene (Pittman) Fox.

Marty enjoyed being outside doing yard work, and wood crafting.

Mr. Fox is survived by his siblings, Shirley Cheaney and husband Hal of Coleman, Oklahoma, Butch Fox and wife Lana of Paris, Texas, Oscar Fox of New Mexico, Peggy Dosh of Durant, Oklahoma, and Ilene Stowe and husband Gary of Kenefic, Oklahoma; and children, Chandy Niles of San Antonio, Texas, Mark Fox of Happy, Texas, and Mattie Tonubbee of Calera, Oklahoma.

Mr. Fox was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Irene Fox.

Family hour will be from 6-7:00 PM on Thursday April 26th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Friday April 27th at the Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Oklahoma with Bro. Olin Williams officiating. Pallbearers will be Darren Cheaney, Chad Cheaney. Jeff Stowe, Jeremy Stowe, Gary Stove, and Hal Cheaney. Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma www.holmescoffeymurray.com
