RUBY SCHLOTTHAUER

The funeral for Ruby R. Schlotthauer, 79, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Homestead Bible Church in Homestead with the Rev. Bill Wiebe officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery east of Okeene under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.

Schlotthauer died Saturday at her home.

She was born Jan. 10, 1914, in Georgia to Henry and Naomie Louise Hooper. She was reared in Georgia before moving to Tipton at the age of 7. She later moved to Carrolton where she worked in a grocery store. She married Aaron Schlotthauer March 1, 1935, in Taloga. They lived on a farm east of Southard before moving to Enid in 1986. She was a member of Homestead Bible Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Roberts of Enid; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987, one son, three brothers and two sisters.

The casket will be open at the church from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends beginning at 9:30 at the church. The casket will be opened following the service.
