Nov. 24, 1939 - July 2, 2014
 

Funeral for Raymond C. Laubach, 74-year-old Enid, Okla., resident, will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Vernon Lee and Lynn (Bud) Laubach will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Okeene, Okla.

Raymond was born Nov. 24, 1939, in Okeene to Earl and Evelyn (Hoskins) Laubach and died Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

He attended school in Okeene and enlisted in the Navy in December 1957.

On July 21, 1959, he married Opaleta Landreth in Okeene. To this union, three children were born. On March 22, 1986, he married Carol Wolf.

He worked at Vance Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic and later for Conoco as an operator for over 20 years. He was a member of Okeene Christian Church and the Elk's Lodge. He was an avid golfer and loved to watch OU football.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of the home; daughters, Terri Scruggs and husband Arlan of Hennessey, and Sherri Chapmond and husband Tony of Purcell; son, Daniel Laubach and wife Terri of Enid; stepdaughter, Sherri Newman of Enid; stepson, Phillip Wolf and wife Mindy of Del City; grandchildren, Randi Franklin and husband Byron and Tyler Scruggs and wife Amber, all of Hennessey, Trynton Laubach and wife Lindsey and Brandon Laubach, all of Pasadena, Texas, Rob Farley of Hennessey, Kady Farley of Purcell, Jennifer Lawrence and husband David of Enid, Cory Newman and wife Ragen of Enid, and Greyson Wolf, Harrison Wolf and Jackson Wolf, all of Del City; one stepgrandson, Jacob Chapmond of Norman; 10 great-grandchildren and one due in October. Also surviving are two sisters, Annie Lee and Jeannie Brown and husband Kenny, all of Hennessey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Francis Rothmire.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to OMRF, Pulmonary Fibrosis division.
