Deceased Name: Lula Mae Gilbert, 82, Lahoma


Funeral service will be March 5 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Lahoma with Pastor Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery at Okeene with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home of Okeene.

Lula Mae is survived by three daughters, Geraldine Hanes and husband, Jim, of Gulfport, Miss., Mary Helen Rogers, Martha Johnson and husband, David, of Lahoma, and one son, Johnny Gilbert and wife, Mary Jo, of Elyria, Ohio; 14 grandchildren: Bobby Hanes of Claremont, Ga., Kathy Tubertini if Gulfport, Miss., Denise Reinart of Okeene, Christopher, Mary Beth and Brian Gilbert of Elyria, Ohio, Melissa and Jennifer Gilbert of Ames , Tommy and Larry Thompson, Brenda Cover, Mary Ann Rogers, Robert Rogers of New Jersey and Jenni Keepfer of Enid; 19 great-grandchildren, Amy and Scotty Hanes, Lauren and Taylor Tubertini, Glen and Jodi Roach, Joey, April and Morgan Reinart, Nick, Crystal, Angel, Traci and Staci Thompson, David Rogers, Matthew, Landen, Kendra and Kayla Rogers; six great-great grandchildren, Lane, Mason and Jess Gambill, Jacob and Sam Roach and Hailey Rodriguez; three brothers, Bobby Gene Lester, G.L. Lester Jr., Gerald Lester all of Mississippi; five sisters, Kathleen Long, Margaret Simpson, Carolyn Alexender and Judy Bennett all of Mississippi and Evelyn Dowdle of SanAngelo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter and son, Glenda and Ronnie Gilbert, one grandson, Ryan Gilbert and one very special son-in-law, Charlie Creek.
