Submitted by: Deborah Naylor-Farhar

William CLARK, an employee of the Gypsum Co. at Southard, died in Okeene, Sunday, Jan. 10, 1914 of L~bar Pneumonia. Mr. CLARK was taken sick on Monday of last week and grew rapidly worse and was brought to Okeene Saturday for treatment, but the disease had such a hold on him that nothing could be done and he died at 6 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. CLARK was 51 yrs. of age and his former home was in Conrad, Iowa. The remains were interred in the Okeene Cemetery Tuesday.
Henry CLARK of Conrad, Iowa arrived in Okeene Monday in response to a telegram stating that his brother was very sick here, but the latter died before his arrival.
[NOTE: It is stated that Mr. CLARK was "interred in the Okeene cemetery", however there is no stone to mark his grave in the Roselawn Okeene Cemetery.]
