ROY E. YOUNGER


ENID - Funeral for Roy E. Younger, 70, of Weatherford, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Canton Native American Community Center. Burial in Canton Reinterment Cemetery. Arrangements by Haigler -Pierce Funeral Home , Canton. Wake service 7 p.m. today at the same location.

Born March 23, 1940, and died Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, in Clinton.

Preceded in death by two sons, George and Jay Blackburn.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Bates Younger; daughter, Etta Taylor; sons, Michael and Peter Thomas Blackburn; sisters, Rena Yates, Kimberley Steir and Cynthia Bond; brothers, David Craig and Roger Smith Jr.; and six grandchildren.
