ENID — A graveside service for Benjamin Ross Big Medicine Jr., infant son of Benjamin Ross Big Medicine and Lila Warrior will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Canton Reinterment Cemetery. Arrangements by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Benjamin was born March 22, 2011, at Kingfisher and died Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at OU Children’s Hospital, Oklahoma City.

Survivors include his parents; siblings Victor Valdez II, Victoria Sue Valdez and Joeann Big Medicine; Grandparents Eva Big Medicine, Joe Big Medicine and Eugenia Brown.

Benjamin was preceded in death by grandfather James Warrior and great-grandfather Cheyenne arrow-keeper William Redhat Sr.
